Certificate Overview

The Mental Health in the Workplace Certificate Program is designed to help Wisconsin-based organizations build and sustain a mentally healthy work environment. Through a structured framework, this program empowers businesses to create a culture of well-being that supports both employees and leadership in addressing mental health challenges.

The Mental Health in the Workplace Certificate Program focuses on five essential pillars:

  • Awareness & Education – Raise awareness and educate employees at all levels.
  • Leadership Engagement – Cultivate leadership commitment to mental health initiatives.
  • Policies & Procedures – Establish clear policies to support mental health in the workplace.
  • Employee Support & Inclusion – Create an inclusive environment that supports mental health and wellbeing.
  • Measurement & Growth – Track and assess mental health efforts to foster continuous improvement.

  • Enhance Workplace Mental Health: Implement initiatives across five key pillars to promote employee well-being.

The program is designed to be flexible and scalable, accommodating organizations of all sizes and industries.

How does it work?

  1. Complete the "Intent to Participate Form"
  2. Watch the Launch Webinar
  3. Start with the Pulse Survey
  4. Complete 3 activities per pillar
  5. End with the Pulse Survey
  6. Complete the submission form - including all documentation collected throughout the process

How Will We Be Recognized?

Organizations who complete all necessary activities will be recognized at WCWI's 34th Employee Wellbeing Conference on December 2-3, 2025 in Madison, WI. Participants will also receive a digital badge and acknowledgement across WCWI's marketing channels - social media, website, and newsletter.
