The Wellness Council of Wisconsin (WCWI) is proud to announce a community partnership with the Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality (WCHQ)—uniting around a shared mission to build a healthier Wisconsin through data-driven strategies, cross-sector collaboration, and workforce well-being.
As WCWI enters its 40th year, we remain committed to supporting organizations in transforming workplace culture through inclusive, sustainable, and strategic well-being initiatives. WCHQ’s commitment to transparent measurement and performance improvement across Wisconsin’s healthcare systems aligns deeply with WCWI’s mission to foster healthier employees, organizations, and communities.
Through this partnership, WCWI and WCHQ will:
• Collaborate on initiatives that support the mental health and well-being of healthcare and public health workers
• Explore opportunities to integrate workforce well-being data into broader healthcare performance strategies
• Share tools, resources, and best practices that advance both population health and workforce resiliency
• Partner on events and conversations that drive action across sectors
“Healthcare quality doesn’t exist without a thriving, resilient workforce,” said Carley Hoelzel, Executive Director of WCWI. “We’re proud to explore this partnership with WCHQ—recognizing that improving care starts with supporting those who deliver it.”
“Our healthcare workforce is the backbone of quality care and community health,” added Gabrielle Rude, CEO of WCHQ. “Partnering with WCWI allows us to expand our focus beyond clinical outcomes to include the well-being of those who make those outcomes possible. Together, we’re building a stronger, more sustainable foundation for health in Wisconsin.”
